Click Record

Click the red button to begin recording.

Click Pause

Click the pause button during breaks. To resume, click pause a second time.

Click stop once you're done

Once the meeting is over, click stop.

Go to file, then export audio

Go to "File" in the menu bar, then click "Export Audio".

Click Export to Computer

If this is your first time using Audacity, you'll have to select "Don't show again", then "Export to Computer". If you've done that before, skip this step.

Choose export options

Change the file name to "your-board-name-today's-date", e.g. "Planning-12-4-2021". Then, change the Format to "MP3 Files". Click "Export" and wait for it to finish.

Move the file to a shared drive

Once the file is exported, find it in Documents -> Audacity. Move it to a shared drive or home drive for use later. Now you can close Audacity. Choose "No" if you are asked to save the project.
