If your account becomes locked, you will be unable to log in to Borough systems. This typically occurs after multiple incorrect password attempts. This guide explains how to regain access.

Tools and Materials Needed
- A phone to contact the Service Desk
- Your Borough user information (username or employee ID)
Steps to Resolve an Account Lockout
- Wait 15 minutes for the account to automatically unlock.
If you need immediate access, proceed to step 2.
- Call the Service Desk at (907) 861-8553 for assistance.
- Once your account is unlocked, log in with your current password.
- Update your saved password on all mobile devices to prevent future lockouts:
- Open Settings on your device.
- Update the password under account or email settings.

- Accounts typically lock after 5 incorrect password attempts.
- Updating your password on all devices is essential to avoid repeated lockouts.
- If you recently changed your password, ensure all devices are updated with the new credentials.
