Overview
This article provides guidance and troubleshooting information for applications and services affected by the transition from @matsugov.us to @matsu.gov.
Expected Behavior
The transition from @matsugov.us to @matsu.gov will occur automatically for most systems on August 6th 2026.
You may be prompted to sign back in to Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Office apps. Other non-Microsoft applications that use Microsoft 365 for authentication, such as Time & Attendance, ESRI, Cartegraph, New World ERP (LOGOS), EP&L, Adobe, ClearGov, Barracuda, KnowBe4, and TeamDynamix will also now use your matsu.gov login.
Emails sent to your old @matsugov.us address will continue to be delivered. Your @matsugov.us address will remain as an alias, but all new emails and replies will be sent from your @matsu.gov address.
Most issues can be resolved by signing out and back in with your new @matsu.gov credentials.
Applications Not Managed by IT
For applications not managed by Borough IT, application administrators or software vendors may need to update usernames from @matsugov.us to @matsu.gov.
In some cases, the application may continue using your existing @matsugov.us username and no changes will be required. If an application still requires you to sign in using your .us username after the migration, continue using the existing username unless you are instructed otherwise by the application administrator or vendor.
The following applications are not managed by Borough IT. For account assistance, username updates, questions, or troubleshooting, please contact the appropriate department or application administrator.
