Overview:
After Apple ID Federation is enabled by an organization, your work email becomes a federated Managed Apple ID. If this email was previously linked to a personal Apple ID, Apple requires you to update your personal Apple ID with a new email address. This ensures separation between your personal and federated accounts. However, accessing data like purchased apps, contacts, and other personal information requires you to log into your updated personal Apple ID.
This guide explains how to view and access your personal data and purchases after Apple ID Federation, including the option to log in via iCloud.com on a computer.

1. Update Your Personal Apple ID Email
- Apple will notify you via email if there’s a conflict between your personal Apple ID and the new federated Managed Apple ID.
- Follow the instructions in the email to update the email address associated with your personal Apple ID.
- Ensure the new email address is active and accessible for logging in.
