Finding and Using Images in Blue Harvest

Finding Images

1. Navigate to https://images.matsu.gov/

2. Click the "Search..." field.

3. Type in a keyword for an item you would like to look for. We will look for "field"

4. Scroll through the images and see if you find an image you like. This image might work. Lets click on it.

5. This will bring us to a page with this image as well as related images. Lets click on one of them.

7. You can also click on any of the keywords listed below the images to view all images with that tag.

8. This can be done on the image you have open, or on any of the images in the lists.

using Images

1. Once you have an image open that you would like to use, click "Use Image"

2. If you are using this for any web based application (hubsites, apps, experiences, etc), click "Copy URL". In your application, paste the url of the image where it asks for the url, or use html to put in the image. Make sure to select the URL of the correct size!

3. If you are using the image in a print application (brochures, flyers, etc), make sure to click "Download", again making sure you have the correct size!

Tip: Finding the correct size is important for both web and print applications. Using an image to small will make either blurry, but using an image super large where a smaller one is needed can affect load times on web applications, and use more memory on your computer when working on print applications.
