Samsara Login Instructions

Overview: 

This document provides step-by-step instructions for logging in to the Samsara Driver App using Single Sign-On (SSO). SSO enables users to access Samsara securely using their organization’s login credentials, eliminating the need for a separate username and password.

This guide is designed for drivers at MSB who need quick and secure access to the Samsara platform via mobile devices.

Instructions: 

1. Open the App

  • Locate and open the Samsara Driver App on your mobile device.

  • You can also sign in through a browser Driver Sign In | Samsara

2. Enter Fleet ID

  • You will be prompted to enter the Fleet ID provided by your administrator.

  • Input the Fleet ID and tap Continue with SSO.

3. Enter Organizational Email

  • You’ll be redirected to your organization’s SSO portal.

  • Enter your MSB email address (e.g., jon.doe@matsugov.us) and tap Next.

4. Complete Authentication

  • If prompted, enter your password and verify using multi-factor authentication (MFA), such as a phone call or authentication app.

  • Upon successful authentication, the app will return to the main dashboard.

5. Confirmation

  • You should now be logged in and see your driver dashboard with routes, vehicle assignments, and messages.
