Overview:
1Password has been chosen as the Borough's password management application. This tool will help you manage your passwords securely and efficiently. When your 1Password account is set up by IT, you will receive an email with instructions to complete the setup process.
Instructions:

Account Setup:
- Email Notification: Once IT creates your 1Password account, you will receive an email prompting you to complete the setup.
- Emergency Kit: During setup, create an emergency kit for personal recovery. If you miss this step and forget your master password, submit a ticket for help restoring your account.

Browser Extension:
- Installation: Add the 1Password extension to your browser. This will allow it to fill in your login credentials automatically and update any credential changes.

Mobile App:
- Installation: Add the 1Password app to your phone for password management on the go.

Support and Usage:
- Two-Factor Authentication: Turn on two-factor authentication for your 1Password account for added security.
- Add Passwords: Learn how to add passwords to your account.
- Save and Fill Passwords: Use the extension to save and fill passwords in your browser.
- Password Generator: Use the password generator to create and change to strong passwords.
- Create and Share Vaults: Learn how to create and share vaults. For additional vaults and access permissions, submit a request to IT.
