Tip! This is just an overview of the editing window, types of content and adjusting things. It covers adding and removing content, not actually editing or changing settings!
Hubsite Content Overview
- There are a lot of types of content that we cannot use due to restrictions, or do not use because we have better tools, so we don't go over everything. The Events widget for example, is one we cannot use due to licensing restrictions, so we have better tools.
- You can move content nearly anywhere else on the page, but you cannot move widgets from page to page. You can copy and paste some of the content and settings inside of a widget, but not the widget itself.
- You cannot nest structures on a page. For example, you can put text and an image next to each other, and under each other. However, you cannot put text on one side and multiple images stacked on the right.

Adding/Moving Items Overview
1. Navigate to the editing side of your hubsite, and the page you would like to add/remove content to.
2. Click "Layout"
3. A row is a structure for other content types. The row can control some overall styles like background and text colors. Click and drag the item onto the page.

4. While you are dragging the item, the page will highlight places to drop it with little boxes.
5. Keep the mouse button down and hover over the different boxes to show where the item will go. The little box will change colors to indicate where it will be dropped. Once you have selected the place you would like, let go of the mouse. You can move it afterwards if you would like, so don't worry! To move any item, you
6. To move any item, you can hover over any item, to pull up the menu. Next to the trash and edit options, you can click on the arrows to be able to drag the item around on the page.
Alert: You cannot move items from one page to another, though you can copy and paste some of the content (like text widgets) and/or settings (like surveys or images) between pages.
7. The system will them open the dialog for that item if it is editable that way. Some items are not. To get back to add more items from the edit screen, click on Layout
Copying Content from Page to Page
Hubsites do not allow for easy duplication on page, or from page to page. However, there are a couple of options for how to copy content:
- If you are trying to duplicate one item, you will have to go into the code editor for the text item, or the settings for other items and copy that content to a new widget in the new location
- If you are trying to copy a BUNCH of stuff to another page, you may want to think about if it is easier to copy the page
- If you have documents, or other media items that should look and feel the same between multiple locations, you may want to use an Iframe

Deleting Content
1. Hover over the content you would like to delete, and click on the trashcan icon.
Adjusting Widths
1. When items are next to each other, you can hover over either one and an arrow will appear. Click the arrow to adjust the width gradually.
