Request assistance with 1Password. We can help with password management issues, securely sharing passwords, vault-permission issues, and browser-extension errors.

Description of service

This service troubleshoots and resolves 1Password-related issues such as:

  • Sign-in failures, “Secret Key” not accepted, or MFA prompts not appearing

  • Vault-sharing or password-permission errors (“You don’t have permission to view this item”)

  • Browser-extension problems (e.g. autofill not working) in Chrome and Edge

Before submitting this request

  • Confirm you are using your Borough email address and the latest desktop/mobile app or browser extension.

  • Gather the following information:

    • Error message (if applicable)

    • Vault name (if permission related)

    • Browser name

Supervisor approval is required for new vault creation or role changes.

How we process this request

Once we receive your request, we will assign a technician who will contact you during normal business hours.
