Microsoft Copilot Chat Training

Overview

This article explains how to access the training recommended for Microsoft Copilot Chat. All users can access and utilize Copilot Chat, and are encouraged to complete the training provided through Microsoft Learn as outlined below.

• Learn to use Copilot Chat on the Microsoft Copilot web portal.
• Become aware of responsible AI use and data privacy.

Instructions

Complete Copilot Chat Academy Training

1. Navigate to this link: Copilot Chat Academy on Microsoft Learn.
2. "Sign in to start" using your Borough work account.
3. Follow the instructions provided with each module..
4. You will be asked to open Copilot Chat, which can be accessed here.
5. Complete the following three training Modules below.
   1. Get Started with Microsoft Copilot
   2. Write effective prompts to achieve optimal results
   3. Explore prebuilt Micrsoft 365 Copilot Agents
6. IMPORTANT NOTE: After each module, please return to the primary training site to continue with the other modules at Copilot Chat Academy

Additional Information

The Copilot Chat Academy training should take 1 - 2 hours to complete.

If you plan to use the licensed version of Copilot Chat through Microsoft 365, you must also complete the Copilot Office 365 Academy. This additional training unlocks advanced features such as custom agents, data integration, and workflow automation. Review this article for more information.
