Description of service:
Sometimes a job requires a minor tweak for clarity that does not affect the overall scope. Example: IT recently requested that the "Relevant Experience" was listed in the job descriptions for the Enterprise System Administrator. This did not add to the complexity or years of required experience. It simply spelled out the kind of experience they are looking for. Another example: The Utility Worker III position required possession of or ability to readily obtain a Class A CDL from the State of Alaska. The "ability to readily obtain" was removed and changed to required at time of hire. This did not change the requirements or the scoring of the position. This ticket is to help with those minor tweaks and clarifications.
Before submitting this request:
Requests should come from the supervisor, manager or director of the position requesting clarification. If you need a copy of the Word Document so that clarifying corrections can be made with tracked changes, please reach out to Human Resources @ 861-8404.
How we process this request:
Changes are routed through the Borough Manager for approval, the MSBEA is notified and all current incumbents are notified of the changes to their job descriptions.
